I'm in North NJ and wondering when is the best time to start over/reseeding lawns here. Can it be too cold for seeds to grow?

yes it can be to cold for the seeds to germinate. i would say when there is no more danger of frost and the temps are 60+ during the day. maybe some one from your area can help out better.

Im in Ohio, and I would agree, wait until there is no danger of frost, and soil temps are atleast 55 degrees. Probably later this month.
