When to pass out flyers

When should you start passing out flyers in a cold climate such as Minnesota where the snow doesn't melt until around April?

Who are you targeting? Residential, commercial...

If its residential as im assuming it is, you should do it a few weeks before its ready to mow.

yes it will mainly be mowing residential lawns but eventually want to get into commercial lawns, when would be a good time to ask them? thanks

From what I have read on this site..

I'm waiting untill the season is about to start.

Then I'm hitting it very hard.

Late Feb and March for me. Oh, and thru Spring if I have the time, Good Luck

With commercial, the sooner or better. Join your chamber of commerce, rotary, kiwanis, lions, anything where you can network with other business owners.
