How long do you wait to call on status of your mower after you drop it off at mower shop to get work done?

Depends. Last few times the mower has been in I waited a week to call.

Three days of you haven’t heard from the shop.
A good shop should have it looked at and diangnosed with an estimate for repairs within 36 hours and call you for direction before the end of the 2nd day so parts can be ordered if it’s not in stock or a simple fix.

Typically a shop will have a preauthorized minimum (ie if it’s under $500 just get it done)
A good shop runs that way,
But many don’t even think about it.
A high volume shop can’t be bothers with your relic taking up floor space because you want to “think about” a $100 repair.

Drop it off, walk out to the truck, get in start up turn on A/C & give them a call & say is my mower ready?

They should fix the machine while you wait, but since they wont your wasting alot of time an money messing with them.

To be honest I'm a big gear head so if it's outa warranty I'm gonna try & fix it myself first, but the couple times i did bring stuff in i got really lucky with them helping the commercial guys first..
