I'm a Husqvarana fan but you can't go wrong with either one.

i use stihl as well. just make sure that whatever you buy you have some good dealer support to back you up
I have a near-new Husqvarna on the shelf I never use mainly because my older Shindaiwa never lets me down.
I have few stihl products they're good tools. Out of 10 stihl engines I've only had a problem with one. I bought it new it new in 1998 the model farmboss 290. After 12 years it lost compression. It was cheaper to buy a new one. For what it's worth I abused that saw. On the other hand I have a stihl from the 1970's that stihl runs great! Like that little pun.. I always wanted to buy a husqvarna, but they do not have the dealer/parts availabilty that the stihl has in my area. I've had a couple saws that have sat for 2 years and as long as I put new gas in it they start in 2 pulls.
