How is that largest hayate? Isn't that over 7lbs quite heavy?

I am not sure of the difference I only have the 16' Hayate. It weighs 9.5 lbs but is well balanced and tough as nails.

7lbs is 112 oz...not sure how that it heavy  Have you ever used a Stihl HT101 or 131 all day? I am pretty sure that if you have then your shoulders , arms and backs will thank you for this "Heavy" 7lb saw ;)

I bet easy lifts rig would help that. I have a harness for my pressure washing poles that really helps.

Nice Plug :clapping: I have honestly only used my ht 01 for actual small tree work since getting the first Silky. It sat for I believe close to a year and half before I broke it out again and had to clean it up with a new carb and fuel line etc because I let it sit ideal for so long. I have been trying to use it a little more to ensure this does not happen again, but the thing is the Silkys actually can handle most small pruning your throw at it just as quick considering having to have the bulk of the 101 or 131.
