I am going to buy a Stilhl KombiSystem this week. Here are my two choices:
    A. KM85r 25.4cc, 1.01bhp, weighs 11.2lbs, holds 15.2oz of gas, $299

    B. KM110 4-mix engine, 31.4cc, 1.3bhp, weighs 11.9lbs, holds 18oz gas. $349

Both accept the same attachments. Which one would you buy?:D

I demoed the 4-mix engine.. and I love it. But I will remain loyal to Redmax/Honda. Are they both split broom or gear box attachments?

    Try out the Redmax's too.

I'm thinking about that setup myself, as I need am stick edger and I also would like the articulated hedge clippers. I haven't used a 4 mix yet, but everone here raves about the torque they have.. My logic is, I need the edger all the time so I'd get the torqueier 4-mix , and just deal with the extra weigh when I hedge.:)

My dealer suggested the 110 because of the extra torque it has.
The weight difference is only 7 ounces, so I don't think it will be a big deal. I won't be using it use it all day at first anyway. I just want a backup trimmer, plus a stick edger, and I really like the pole prunner attachment.
