I will vote for the shindaiwa speedfeed. This is by far the best trimmer head I have ever used. It is easy to load line, advance line, no line welding and best of all the bottom is smoothe [doesn't hang on anything]. They sell kits to fit many trimmers. The only trimmer I have that would not fit was my Kawasaki {so I put a redmax gearhead on so now it fits}.

I second stihl. very fast and easy. I keep a few heads loaded (have employees fill them while I drive) so they don't sit at the truck playing with it forever. And, since you get the stihl head on the end of a stihl trimmer it's a winning combination ( I like my fs100rx- great little 4 mix)

I like Echo's Echomatic Pro head. It has the divided spool, and it is only a 2 piece head so there is no risk of losing the spring when you take it apart to refill the string.

The old red RedMax heads were fine. The latest black ones are garbage, IMO.
