Got an account that had the leach field replaced last fall, then reseeded and straw and wated for spring. Well spring came but only a little grass came up? I have never heard of this. Any ideas?:weightlifter:

Bad seed, old seed, not enough light or moisture, many possibilities, most likely a soil contaminate. After checking the basics listed first I would get a soils test. They are cheap and make you look smart, the labs will usually send recommendations along with the results if you let them know its a turf area.

when did you seed it? this spring or in the fall? If not given enough time in the fall to germinate and establish itself, periods of thaw and freeze would rot the seed and therefore it will not grow in the spring.

The customer seeded last fall. October I think he said...good suggestion about the freeze/thaw rot.
I think you guys have something with the seed/soil. Soil sample..just take a clump of dirt and put it in a plastic container???
