Why ??

    I have a question (kind of a pet peeve). It’s not just here on this forum, but on any forum I’ve ever been on.
    Whenever I’ve asked more then 1 question in a single thread, only the first question gets an answer. Why is that?

    Do you mean like you did in this thread?

    If you post questions in an older thread after it's died down a lot of people won't notice. It's more effective to create a new one, you'll have more people read it and get more replies.

    It's also etiquette, when multiple people ask different questions in the same thread it can veer off topic and the original poster gets cast aside for the reasons they posted to begin with.

    If it is a separate question asked later in the thread and not related to the original topic then that would probably be why...

    forum traffic and question relevance have a lot to do with it.
