I just got a new Scag and I can't decide, digital or analog?
Neither. Go with something like a Tiny tach or a Sendec unit. Then you get Hours, Oil change reminder, and a Tach all in one small unit.
i like the tiny tachs with hour meter/tach
or put them both on...what's one more hole in the cluster
I am not getting a tiny tach or SenDEC. I have a 2 inch hole punched out in my dash already.
Then go digital. They won't break like the analog ones do.
The only thing i don't like about the digital meter is that it only displays the hours when the machine is running. If i had electric start with a battery it could display all the time.
The analog meter is really for a boat. Very durable and waterproof. Has a doam lense and water won't stand on it.
Go with the "white one" just cuz it looks different than everyone else.
I would go with the digital one. It seems that I see a lot of machines for sale and many say the hour meter stopped working at ??? hours. When you look at the style of the broken meter it is an analog meter.
