Wild Violet/Purple Violet Control?

    I use Dicamba it seems to do a fair job.

    Manor-(Metsulfuron) Safe on all but Tall Fescue!
    Banvel-(Dicamba) Safe on Bermuda and Zoysia!

    First off--What types of turfgrasses are you having outbreaks in??

    Out of 900 or so customers we've only got around 30 that aren't Tall Fescue.

    Drive--usually used for crabgrass--works swell on wild violet and clover. Also does beautifully on wild morning glory (bindweed). Can be used over-the-top on some shrubs. Check the label.

    your personal lawn or customers? I use Confront, Millennium Ultra2 or Eliminate-D on my yard.

    Confront works well. I always felt that a return application in about 10 days was the key to a good kill. I'm talking about spot spraying. I used this about 5-6 years ago. I believe you can only use Confront on commercial properties, not listed for residential use anymore.

    if its a residential confront is no longer legal to use on it

    i just ordered t-zone , ill post results

    trimec (with dicamba ) has zero effect for me

    Imprelis smokes the heck out of violets...

    Read the other threads b/f using tho. Too bad too, because it really gets after some hard to controls.

    Yea and??? Anyone can buy it...I cannot buy fireworks in my state but I have a trunk full.....:hammerhead:
