I used Speedzone for wild violet control this spring and early summer. The dealer said it would control wild violets with one application. It turned the violets white and the grass brown. The violets came back and the grass greened up. Speedzone doesn't seem to get the job done even when I mixed it to the maximum allowed per the label instructions. And it's expensive. Any suggestions as to a more effective wild violet control. Thanks.

We have had fair control with Speedzone also using a surfactant and multiple apps, 2 over a 2 weeks.

Confront, AI triclopyr + clopyralid is very good, unfortunately it is no longer labeled for residential turf.
