Will 93 octane make my mower run better? Thanks guys
No. Ethanol free will run a little stronger but 93 octane won’t change anything except your fuel bill.
Only way it might help is if it has some sort of additive that helps an engine run better during Florida summers. Otherwise, no noticeable difference.
Running anything higher than the manufacturer recommends is just wasting money at the pump. I run 89 pump gas in my mowers, and 90 Ethanol free with Echo Red Armor mix in the handhelds. No sense running the Premium where Midgrade works fine.
87 octane with no ethanol is all one should need. If you're feeling spunky throw in some seafoam every once and a while to keep things cleaned up in the fuel system.
I've run 10% Eth for 13 years now. No biggie.
Please explain why it would run stronger on ethanol free?
As have I, not an issue.
