When u run an ad in the paper i found the people that are calling you are people who are price shopping they just call abunch of contractors and take the best price... thats not for me i want a customer who wnats quility and are loyal to me ... but u have to start somewhere.. good luck
charles how i avoid that is by having a min. charge we stop alot of it but not all. When we run an ad or a customer calls us for a free estimate we say we have a minium of 35.00 no matter how small your yard is . Then if they say ok no problem we still would like a free estimate .. then we do it .. but if they say wow no thank u then u dont waste your time giving out a estimate you probally were not going to get anyway.
