Sorry if this has been asked before however, I am considering getting out of the lawn biz (no longer working the equipment, not all together). My strengths are in sales and marketing, not out in the field.

My partner is the complete opposite, he prefers to work in the field and not in the office and we were fortunate enough to hire a guy that left his previous lco.

Winter is better for us money wise and I would serve the company better by producing the customers and commercial accounts.

Anyhow, are there ANY lcos that work summers exclusively?
  2. Me. I'm just south of the "snow belt". We average 2 significant snows per winter here. Not enough to even pay for a plow if you already have a truck.
I've taken a tip from my neighbors. They're called "Florida farmers". Corn or soy beans in the summer, Florida in the winter. No livestock.
I work from St. Patrick's day 'till about Thanksgiving. Not exactly summer when it's snowing out. But I do take winters off.
