past few days its been almost 70 here, and we're getting a very good amount of rain as well. i the is growing more than normal for this type of year. most of the trees are still full of leaves and some are still green. looks like mother nature is making up for the draught this year.

any of you guys notice that your seasons might be longe than normal this year? just wondering
  2. I'm done for the year.

I'm taking the mower to the shop today to have it ready for next year.
I mowed my last lawn yesterday, first time mowing since Sept 29th.
September was good with four mowings. August was great (for August) with four mowings.
We've had two little sprinkles of rain in Oct. Just enough to get some core areating done. No grass growth though.
The trees here are 90% bare. They went thru their color change in about three days the first of the month. I guess everything here gets so dependent on regular rainfall that when it slacks off everything just quits growing.
This is the earliest I've ever quit mowing.
I'm ready for a little vacation though. You can have my share of the rainfall. Good luck on your extended season.
