I was wondering if any of you offer winter tree watering as part of your planting program or business. It seems like a nice alternative to plowing here in dryer states. I have seem a few winter watering proposals from other companies and it seems like it has potential to be profitable.

For those of you who do winter watering, what is your set up as far as hoses and nozzles?Do you water multiple trees at the same time? In states with frozen ground, what is the best way to avoid run-off? I assume the slowest application possible?

I am thinking of putting together a watering trailer, and concentrating on this during winter. During the summer I strictly design as a sub-contractor of a design/ build.

Any info or opinions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Aren't the trees dormant in winter in the Rockies?

    They are in Michigan.
