Is it possible to wire 2 55W lights to a 7 pin trailer connector? If so what colors do I need to wire up to?

I think center pin is blue isn't it? Ive never seen a purple I dont think on a 7 pin its usually black, white, blue, yellow green brown and red. Maybe im wrong, Ill have to look in to it.

Either way, just use a tester to make sure. I've seen some weird colors used for all different things on some of the peoples' trailers I've worked on. lol

Find the wires to an existing lamp, splice into that.
That's how I do it, I somewhat doubt reverse is in the connectors, is it?

No need to do that, should be wired factory. Check your owner's manual, it should tell you which terminal powers the trailer reverse lights.
