I have been using Fluid Film for many years, and did it just 2 weeks ago for the 2022-23 winter season on the trucks/car. How does your product compare regarding longevity?

Getting through an East Cost winter with one application of the Fluid Film.

Thanks for any feedback!

Thank you for your question. Fluid Film is a great product. But not so much as an automotive undercoating. We represented Fluid Film for almost 20 years as both sales agent and a distributor. So we know the product extremely well. Fluid Film wants to remain a multi-purpose product. They promote the product as a boot spray, leather softener, wood treatment, lubricant, penetrant, and corrosion inhibitor. To do that they need to remain very low viscosity. As an automotive undercoating Fluid Film washes off very quickly.
Woolwax™ was developed specifically as an auto and truck undercoating. It is much more viscous and resistant to wash-off. Woolwax™ also adds an odor neutralizer to eliminate the strong smell of wool-grease. Also Woolwax™ is a much more stable formulation and the viscosity is very consistent. The viscosity of Fluid Film can vary dramatically from batch to batch.
