Online selling for $5K Im sure plus shipping, etc. For lawns the size of those I photgraphed, you could get 4-5 seasons of professional lawn mowing service in the time you use that pos for a subpar job.

No. It was working across the street from a lawn I mow.

 

It doesn't look awful from the pictures, but pictures of grass are really deceiving. A camera can't really capture fine cut quality like the naked eye.

Thing is though, I think the majority of people don't care.



I recognize a part of myself - that once I got to the point of wanting to not have to mess with cutting the grass anymore - I probably wouldn't care that much how fine a cut the robo-mower left anyway...

 

they cut like dog ****. I've watched a dozen videos on youtube, and watched people in towns lawn with them. There is no lift on 99% of the models. I'd say we are 2-3 generations away from them being worth considering. Sorta like robot vacuums. I still don't think those are suitable for anyone but a childless couple with no animals.

 

i've looked into them. it's too loud for one and the tracks area not a good choice for turf. we have a few of the husquvarnas and I feel though the software isn't a slick the quality of cut and noise levels are much better.

 

I have two Fert customers that run these. Suckers tear up damp slopes like no other, with their tracks.
