I have a Yanmar grey market tractor, model 2002D. I am trying to find out what the John Deere equivalent model is for replacement parts, etc.

Can anyone help me? Is there a website that has such information?

Most of the grey market Yanmars do not have direct JD equivalents. Did you buy from a dealer or private seller? Grey market Yanmar parts are available from a number of sources, but don't figure on running down to your local JD dealer to get parts. If the seller gave you that line, he was lying through his teeth. There may well be some JD parts that fit your machine, but don't expect any help from a JD dealer. For a lot more info on these machines, go to tractorbynet.com

Yep. Bought from a dealer, Maynard Equipment in Brownsboro, AL, and he told me he thought there was a JD equivalent to it. Been a great little tractor for the 5 years or so I have owned it. Have not done any maintenance on it, but am starting to do some general maintenance, ie changing filters, fluids, etc.

Thanks for the website, I will check it out.
