...You Claim on Lawnsite that backpacks "take too long to start up and put on" compared to "just grabbing a handheld".

Today I Borrowed a Handheld from a Homeowner and Timed it....

    Starting Backpack-2 Seconds.
    Starting Handheld-2 Seconds.

    Putting on Backpack-2 Seconds
    Handheld-0 Seconds

Total Time Save by Starting and Using Much Less Powerful Handhelds--2 Seconds.

i'm considering buying a couple handhelds. a good one goes for about $150. when you are using them for blowing grass off of 60 ft of driveway and walkway, why do u need a backpack? save the back pack for what it was meant for, leaf cleanup. why carry a $500 backpack blower to blow a little grass off the walkway? no need for a back pack

I agree with Bobby on this one. I only use my backpack blower when I have more than one property in a row to blow off. It's easier to grab the handheld in most cases.

Oh come on. You know that you just aren't as sucessful as Fareway and you can't possibly afford a backpack or you would be strapping one of those bad boys on your back to blow off those driveways and sidewalks like real men. Thank you oh mighty Fareway for showing us the error of our ways.
Then you wonder why people hack at you. You always take the first shot. But then, you are so mighty and awsome.
