Not up there with the big boy trucks, but I do love this truck just the same, is still serving me very well. I'm gearing up a recent auction purchase for this season (1997 f350 reg cab 8 foot box 2 wheel drive 5.8L gas) as my towing truck.
Hey whatever works man. Everyone starts out with something. I don't have a big boy truck yet either. Thats on my wishlist for next summer.
Does that truck have a liftgate? I'd like to have a truck like that with a liftgate for a WB a few days a week.
I started off with a 78' ford f100, paid $600 for it. Thats what it took for me back then 87' to make it work. Today everyone wants the biggest and badest truck when all you really need is a basic truck. Its real easy to get outta hand with payments and insurance, when reality is, we need a work truck not a show piece.
No kidding because with work the show piece will come.
