Does $8700 for a new Huslter Super Z, 30 Kohler hp, 66" deck with flex forks sound like a good price.....?

Does $8800 for the same combo except a 72" deck sound as good..?

My mowers have been 60" or less. Except for the obvious reason of cutting more ground with each pass what are the positives and negatives for each scanerio?

Also I've notice the blades (fusion) for the 72" cost quite a bit more than the 66". Do you have an opinion on after market blades and the results of using them?

MSRP's on those units are as follows...

    928051 SZ30KOH66XR7 MSRP $10,599 Spring Promo $8,899
    928069 SZ30KOH72XR7 $10,749 Spring Promo $9,049
Add a additional $199.00 for Flex Forks.
I would say you are getting a good price.
The obvious advantage is productivity, the 66" is 10% more productive then the 60" and fits in most of the same places the 60" does.
More productivity means more money in your pocket.
Fusion blades are worth every penny, they last longer and stay sharp longer, well worth the added dollars.
I don't know much about aftermarket blades, someone will have to chime in there.

Would the fusion blades work well with my mulch kit?

But Gators or dedicated mulching blades will work better.

Thats an excellent price! Even w/o the flex forks. I'd jump on that. I was quoted that $8900 special promo price. But that was w/o the flex forks.

I wasn't pricing 72" machines (be warned they won't be an XR-7 deck), but it was $150 to go from 60" to 66".
