The music is fine. You need more examples of the lawns you mow, not just one or two. I would eliminate the chain saw pick, because it just looks like your posing for the pic, of which your not properly dressed for doing that type of work...makes you look like you will try anything. Do you only mow lawns? What about selling some beds to go around those trees, instead of hitting them w/ the trimmer? Just a thought. The sneakers & low socks or no socks makes you look like more of a novice. Think safety, and project that in your image more. Mention what services your promoting, and back it up w/ more than one or two quality pics. The stripping looks good, just need more of it...but don't dwell too long on one thing, unless you break it up w/ more examples, like different stripping patterns, etc...

Overall, nice effort!

No problem, I like to see how some of you guys evolve over time, and show the process...I've been out of lawn service for over 20 years, but I think a lot about how things have changed in the industry over the years, and what options there are now that didn't exist when I was starting out.

I'm a design/build contractor, one thing people like to see is the before and after. If I went back to doing lawn care, I'd be selling all of the services that went with it.

As far as the before /after, I see a lot of companies doing a great job at illustrating this in slide shows, or side by side images. I see lawn care as an easy way to do that, if you have your camera handy All The Time. I would be taking pics of those same lawns right now, when they are looking their worst coming out of winter. In my area, I see a lot of guys aerating and de-thatching, but don't follow through with selling products like over seeding, fert or lime. They leave a lot of money on the table and don't deliver the best results.

To aid in the sell: before pics (zoomed in shots) showing snow mold, bare spots/ yellow patchy, etc..., 2-3 week after pics (zoomed in, maybe macro setting) showing the seed germinating in the plug holes, a month or two later a distant shot of a greener, fuller, more lush well striped lawn. I would then use the best shots for printed literature, ready to be handed out to the neighbors when they inquire about "what are you doing to that poor lawn." Gives you the upper hand, and makes it much easier to sell, when they want their lawn "to look like that."

Oh yea...First and last shots should be taken from same spot w/ same focal points in background for reference (trees, deck, plantings, etc.). Pics w/ fresh mulch on the after shots will make them that much better.

i agree with the few pics and safety items addressed in previous posts.

just get some better pics and put them in instead, speed up the pace just a bit to accomodate more pics and you have a nice slideshow.

I dont mean the following to sound real harsh, its just some observations...

Something I noticed was the photos look a dull. I mean, get some photos when the suns out. I got depressed watching it. More variety as well/different properties.
Speed it up, brighten it up.
Get some photos of yourself wearing proper out fit. No socks, runners etc is NOT pro! Get some uniforms. Look the part if your putting yourself out there!
