Does anyone have any advice on purchasing a 36" walk behind. New v/s used. What's average for hours, cost, etc ..
I am limited to a small 5X8 or 10 trailer to start with so I thought this would be a good size for the properties I'll be targeting.
    Thanks, Matt:usflag:

I've found the best route to go is to find a demo unit from a dealer that they are wanting to be rid of. Not a rental unit, a demo. Usually they have less than 100 hours and they knock off several hundred to several thousand off the new price (depends on the mower size). 36" is a good size for small residential properties or trim work on larger properties. You can get a lot done with those, I have a 40" Toro and love it. Good luck. Hope you find a good deal somewhere.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to check out the 40" as well. I hadn't thought about that.

Thanks. I've heard that about the hydro mowers. how's the exmark brand? That is the 36" that I've been looking at the most.
