I've never seen anyone personally using a "z" mower. Are they really as fast they looked on American Chopper? or were those tweeked?

The DC's are 11-13 mph. I think they have one that runs 15 mph.

A local cop clocked me on my Dixie at 11.3 mph on his calibrated radar gun. Yes, they are that fast.

They are quick, but I bet on Staten Island the lawns aren't all that big, eh?
If you could test a model on one of your properties, considder gates, hills, where the grass spray is going to go, and so on.
If you search, you will see hundreds of threads about the pluses and minuses of z mowers outfronts and walkbehinds, but only you can decide what is right for your customer blend.
    Happy shopping!
