Do any of you use Kubota ZD models for your commercial equipment. I just
purchased a ZD 28 and another sales person said he didn't think they were
used commercially? Please your thoughts. Also I have a opportunity to
purchase a used Lesco (45hrs) 36" walk behind HYD. for $2200. Is this
    a good deal?

They are used commercially. Do a search for them and you will find quite a bit of info on them.

    I run ZD 28 / 60" deck.

If they weren't used commercially, who'd buy them???

I don't know of many homeowners that would buy them at a price of $11k+.

It's decent. I wish they had the fuel tank on both sides, not just one.

Also, the deal with the way the front axle pivots, it's hard to reach around with a 36" garbage grabber to get garbage sometimes.

Other than that, it's got a real decent cut, even in thick grass with the 28 hp having more torque than a same hp gas engine.

For myself, I don't know if I'd buy another, since I trade my mowers in every 2-3 years. It doesn't make much sense for me to put the extra $1500-2000 into the diesel engine, since by the time I trade them, they're more or less just getting broke in with 1200-1500 hours on them.

I have had my Kubota for 3 yrs. and I love it. It is quiet, cuts good, and extremely fuel efficient. It is a all-around great machine. Would I buy another - not definately but more than likely. :usflag:
