we use are equipment year round in Florida and my dealer says heat and the bouncing will hurt a batterys life. I wonder about how many hrs u northern guys on average put on your ztrs vs southern guys.

My last 2 batteries got about 4 years each. Were running all week for 42 plus weeks a year. I've only taken one week off this year as we've added more REO work and it's keeping us hopping with clean-ups and grass cuts.

The main thing is you want to look for the CCA (Cold Crank Amps) and I just noticed you're from florida so disregard this post haha.

The more CCA the better. This is the available power the starter motor will only use what it needs. If there's not enough you'll get a voltage drop and over heat the starter.
