hi guys this is similar thread to ones that is on here but when do you guys stop mowing with walk behinds and start with a zero turn? I ask because i got a zero turn right of the bat (tiger cub 48" 19 kawa) and a snapper 21" for small areas i figure i can grow a good amount before i need a larger mower any thoughts welcome.

    Here is my thoughts.

Resi: lots of trees and bushes, and up to an 3/4 acre = WB only
Resi: a couple of trees, no fence lines = ZTR

Commercial: around bldg's with bedding = WB until the parking lot, then ZTR for the rest.

I've found when using the WB, it doesn't require as much trimming!

Sounds like a good rule of thumb to me !!
