We just built a house because a new highway has taken our old one. At the old place we had a large area of the yard that has the perfect lawn grass. I believe it to be zoysia. I don't really care what it is, I would just like a whole yard of it.

I bought some zoysia sod and placed it next to the new house and have a few days to try to get some of the old lawn. Before the dozers show up.

Last night I took clam shell post hole diggers and dug up plugs and transplanted them to the new yard. Probably did about a hundred of them.

    Is there an easier way?
    Thanks for any opinions

btw we just got about six inches of rain from Isaac so the ground is pretty moist.

Thanks, never entered my mind, that I could rent a sod cutter. We have a couple of rental places close. The local HD quit renting tools a couple of years ago.
