I think the Segway (sp) would come in handy for those mile long edgeing jobs. It's just as fast, cheaper, and you can stand up. Put the blower on your back and the machine compensates for the added weight.

I laughed when I saw this thing and I still laugh. The first thing I thougt about was how lazy can you get? Maybe I'm wrong. I hope it does well for him and he does make a fortune, but I think it will be in a different setting, not lawn maintenance.........delivering mail maybe.

Now...........if a customer wanted his 2 acre yard mowed with a 21"....................I could go for this thing!

    next we'll see a 21 with a sulky
  5. LOL, the Segway Sulky, hehe.
  6. I was shocked when you said niche, then I though well maybe the hadicap, but this is not for lawn care.

The potensial for server injery is so low, even with the grade buzzer it has.

So what 21" mower do you all want the sulke on. Give Jinglejim a call he will make you one.

Homer I surprised that an intelligent, sensible guy like yourself would make the comment "how lazy can you get".
Actually I'm surprised anyone would make that statement!

Does using a ZTR mower make you lazy? Does using a sulky on a WB make you lazy? Does using a.........ok, I could go on an on. I can't believe I've even had to go this far.

You don't see the difference between lazy and being more efficient?, more productive?. Keep in mind this is regardless of whether this particular machine works or not. This is about the idea that one would call a machine that is supposed to make you more productive, "lazy" for using it.

  8. Key word "sapposed".

How can it make you more efficient if you have to get off it all the time to do area's it cannot go?

Carry a blower and a weed eater at the same time is very common. My guys do it all the time.

Trim under that tree, oh wait I have to get off first.

Dispurse the clippings out in the lawn, wait it will leave more tracks in the stripes.

The mowers are not in the same catagory as this contraption.

Sorry but you can not trim to much faster or even blow that much faster.

Heck if you want pre blow with the ZTR on the big props like my guys do.

Give me one pro and I'll hand you 10 more cons for every one pro.

You just can't do what you can while walking. Walking is the most productive way to trim and blow with such vering terrains.

Look at the pic while he is trimming the curb line. He comes to a telephone pole 3' into the grass, how is he going to "trim that"?
