Green-Pro, How are those lawn grips when trimming? Do you get grass in them or not? I like the look of the lace up ones but, my magnums cost less than that and are an 8" cut. My big thing is ankle support that's why I like a boot with a high cut. I am also a little weary of buying something like that with out trying them on to see what the comfort level is.

I tried them on at the Louisville Expo, had to order them as they did not have them actually for sale there. I got the lace up ones and so far while using them toward the end of our season I had no issues with grass clippings in the shoes (couldn't say the same for my boots). I also like the over the ankle boot, I just feel better protected, but as I said the Redwings, although a fine boot< would tend to become heavy on my feet by days end. They have their place like when working on walls. patios, etc. but the lawngrips feel like a lightweight sports shoe, still offering protection as they are steel toed. I know I will definitely order another pair, and my wife wants a pair of the Velcro ladies shoe.

You being in Jersey would also appreciate them on the slick (snow, ice) surfaces, dang good shoe IMO.
