7am commercial 8am residential

Depends on what day it is, what season it is, what temp it is and what the weather is.

Last summer, when we had highs around 110*, I called by clients and asked if I could start at 6:45AM before it got too hot...they all said yes, they understood the situation.

Normally, when mowing after School, the earliest I can start is around 3:30PM (when I get home), and work until it gets dark (or I finnish the days route).

Weekends, with normal (good) weather on saturdays, I start at around 8AM, unless it's going to thunderstorm in the PM, then start at 7AM.

There you go!:usflag:

Hi,
It all varies, on wed. 6:00 AM all other days 7:40 - 8:00. Only one mad neighbor so far, but she was worth ten mad people!

jeeezz, what a bunch of early birds! We start at 10, been doing that for years. I guess having all my lawns within 4 miles and grouped together make a big difference. We(3) can have 25-30 accounts done in a days work.

I do more before 4am than you guys do all day. I bought one of those real quiet electric mowers and mounted halogen lights to my peltors. I'm thinking about welding 4 mufflers together for the Dixie Chopper. Actually I start at 7am and find most of older customers have already been up for a couple of hours. AAHHH! retirement.:usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

I think it depends on the account. I cut for the state this year when it was really hot we started the highway under the lights @ 4:15. I have Also cut commercial @ 4:45-5:00 but no ones house is near by.If you have summer homes w/ no one around you can start that early too . I start on things like this then move to more populated areas between 8-9 but no earlier than 7:30. I know rerouting sucks but if it getting you out of the heat earlier it is worth it. Not that i don't like the heat, but i am talking about like end of July- August this year, i am sure you remember
