Had the camera handy today when i was changing the blade on my stick edger, was wondering how short you guys allow the blade to become before swapping.
Oops, sorry. I didn't realize you posted again. Didn't mean to beat a dead horse...it's past my bed time, I have it backwards, my bad....
I love it for this. It's almost impossible to scalp with. One of my customers has a single patch of grass that's maybe 6'x8' waaaay up in their backyard. A total bear to take even the 21" to - so I always just trim the whole thing. Works great and is fast.it's my fault. I was thinking of something alittle different. Your right though.
As far as edgers go, I haven't used my 265 much to notice a change in cut. LOL It does a nice job though.Plus I ordered a Edgit to try. I'm curious how well it does at trimming small flat areas that my mower can't reach. Most of my customers yards are plenty big enough for my 61" deck but there's a few places it can't get. I'd rather use a trimmer then get the push mower out. The video says it creates a small vacuum on the grass and leaves a cleaner cut so we'll soon find out.
