What do you do with yards that have trampolines? Move them, cut around them, or let the grass under them go? I have several customers that have gotten them recently and I hate them!!

I had one fall apart when I tried to move it one time. The customer had to show me the "right" way to move it (basically spinning it instead of dragging it straight sideways. Needless to say I am glad that one was a one-time job:)

i've figured this one out. what you do is mow an area next to the trampoline then go to the other side and put your feet up on the bar of the trampline as your front castors go under it a bit. then push slowly forward on the levers and move the trampoline to the area you cut and then cut the rest of the yard. a little trick i figured out to keep you from having to get off the mower and slide it over. you can do it all without getting off or shutting off the blades. :D

I mow up to it then back my ZTR up to it. Reach my right hand back and grab it and run my sticks with my left hand and pull it to the mowed area. Never get off the mower. For me I hate to take the time just shutting the deck off and raising it, then lowering the deck and engaging it so I don't mess up my stripes. Next week I repeat just moving it to another area.

I just leave the stupid things where they are. The grass underneath them usually dies from lack of light. I would rather pick one area of the yard to be sacrificed.
Totally agree!
Also, I dont know how many times Ive moved them in the past and the legs fall off, then spend 5 - 10 mins putting it back together.
I tell customers I wont move them because of potential liability issues.

Exactly. They are to be trimmed and mowed around just like any other piece of landscaping in the yard.

Not to mention that if they are properly installed they'll have tie downs for wind.

I use to drag the stupid things all over the yards, but one day I thought "I could get a back injury from this". I haven't touched one since. I cut around, then trim around the legs and that's it. I would sometime's use the mower to move them then fight to put the legs back on. SCREW IT! MOVE YOUR TRAMPOLINE!

Yeah, that's the last thing you want to do is be pushing it around with your mower. Two things can happen and neither is good.

1. So, what are the 2 things?
2. What do you do with them? You just offered your thought's on what everyone else does.
3. Have you ever offered a positive thought on LS?
4. 2 other's said the that they move them with their mower's too. Did you not read the whole thread?

I'm just a MOW, BLOW, and GO type guy!
