New-ish to this forum, so thanks in advance for any help/advice! I'm a homeowner but it's a commercial brand of equipment so not sure which forum is correct, but figured I'd start here.
I have a Scag Cheetah with the 52" V+ deck. I recently put on a QuickChute flap to allow for easier switch to mulching. I am in southern WI and so far this summer the grass is growing pretty quickly.
With the flap down I'm seeing windrows created at the discharge line of the deck. What are the usual steps to deal with this? Engine speed seems good, and I'm going pretty slow as far as groundspeed (it's bumpy terrain anyways so I have to).
Regular stock blades right now, is there a style that is better for mulching on a machine like this? I'm just want to avoid having to rake after mowing!
