1 gallon of 28-0-0 contains 2.8 lbs of N. You didn't say how many gallons/K your sprayer puts out but lets assume it's 1 gal/K then I would spray no more of 28-0-0 quick release then 1/2 lb N/K. I would add 5 gals of 28-0-0 to 25 gals of water and you will spray 30K at about 1/2lb N/K. Cut that in half to finish the other 14K on the next load.

K is = 1000 ft squared and an acre is 44,000 ft sq or 44K. Set the sprayer to spray just under .7 gl/K and add just under 8 gls of 28-0-0 and fill the rest with water and spray. If it gets warm, which it's not supposed to, you will get a bit of growth otherwise you will get good greenup and steady growth for a few weeks.

Great thank you for the help!

You are going to get quite a pop from that app. I'd be mowed up and looking sharp beforehand and be prepared to mow after the app. You may want to wait until you get a few days of warmer weather before you apply and let the grass jump from all the moisture and get your mowing under control first.
