Pictures & ideas to mounting a 300 pound fradan leaf vac to the front of a 5x12 trailer. Even just a few measurements/ photos/ diagrams to show a welding shop. Thanks

This is mine......made it in 2 pieces so I can take it off during the summer months. Mounts on the tounge and raised up so I don't need extenstions for the leaf vac. Works out great for me!

How many pounds can mount that hold? My vac weights about 300. nice job

what sort of dimensions are we talking- thickness of metal and such? I may print off the photo for my welding shop to make one for me- it's a nice setup! If I knew the specs I can tell them that too.

I will try and get some measurements......they should be able to take a look at it and tell you what size metal to use

what are you asking? I'd need the measurement to know if it would fit my fradan 18hp vac, and fit my trailer.

Here is a couple pics of mine, no need to weld anything, just bolt some 2x8 to the A frame of the tongue then bolt the loader to the 2x8's, now every trailer and loader is different, but this is what I came up with, worked very well, still able to drop the tailgate and everything no problem, I take the hose off between houses but leave the tube on, the cover in the first picture was only put on at night or when it was gonna rain just the keep the loader out the elements a bit, its an older billy goat so I didn't need any extension. Let me know if you have any other questions, no recent pics because it's not on the trailer until end of Oct.

that's actually a good easy solution! I'd have to do something slightly for my vac... I think the holes are positioned different. But the idea works. Just have to make sure the trailer jack isn't in the way

Yeah mine was in the way but I got a bolt on swing mount jack, its just on the other side of the vac, can't see it in the picture, only other thing is I had to also move the spare tire which was also on the front, not a huge issue either, overall it works great. I can manhandle the blower on it by myself! It's heavy and awkward but I can manage.
