I use a cheap engine hoist to lift the front.
Ramps work great too, but sometimes it's just not high enough.

Thanks for your input! I have a contingency plan. If I need more height, I can put two 4 x 4s perpendicular to and under the ramps. Then I can change light bulbs in my garage too.

 

Hi lift jack normally but the trailer gate works in a pinch.

 

Someone on Instagram does it the same way.

 

I use the trailer ramp. Put a block behind the wheels. Using a Dewalt impact wrench now as well.

the problem with the ramps is that they get in the way under the deck when you're pulled up on them. I have the plastic rhino ramps and do use them periodically for vehicles and mowers, but the best purchase I made 3 years ago was a harbor freight mower lift for like $80. It's cheap, and it works 100 percent. Fast, easy, can go as high as you want, etc.

I lift the front of my mower with my hand, and slide a jack stand under the deck lip.

 

Thank you! That's how I changed blades on a 48" Turf Tracer. I haven't tried that method on my new mower 'cause I getting old am may not be able to lift it.

 

Simple floor jack....think about changing tires on mower truck and trailer.

Jungle jack. And unless the laws of physics change the mower cannot fall. No need for stands. From the time I wheel the JJ out it takes less than 5 seconds to have the mower up and ready to remove blades. Literally.
