Burning Zoysia

Does anyone burn there zoysia grass in the fall? Ive seen people do it and i was wondering whats the advantages of burning your lawn?

Well we don't have zoysia but we have burned grass before. Just don't let your neighbor see you doing it.

Had an employee that I cought burning grass at work. I told him that stuff was no good for him, and fired him. :cool2:

A lot of people here burn Bermuda grass, but I can't recall ever seeing Zoysia burnt.

I use to burn grass, But now I just mow it.
