If that's true, I'd have a serious chat with the branch manager, and would expect to have any teller fees refunded at any time the ATM was unavailable.

What bank is best is probably a regional thing. Yeah, BOA is all over the country. But they suck.

 

Find a local credit union, big banks suck.

Wouldn't the same apply for who you want to do business with? Someone small, local that actually cares about you? BOA could care less about you.

I use our small local bank, they only have 8 branches. I know a few people who work there so if I need something notorized its not a problem.;

 

I use a small local bank as well only 5 locations. Awesome to work with they all know me by name my company everything. As odd as it may sound I actually look forward to going to my bank very helpful to have that relationship with the people who handle your money!

 

TD bank, not sure if in your area but open 7 days a week! Open until 7pm a few nights a week!

 

We went and got Chase yesterday since the wife is already established with them. At the same time applied for a business CC and got that too!

Easy to work with and took about 45 min to do everything and walk out with debt card in hand.

 

5th 3rd. Monthy service charges $11.00. And 3.00 for monthy paper statements. But if i keep 3500 in account at all times they will wave $11.00 service charges. Seems kinda ridiculous. Been banking with them 30 years. Seems they have become a liability instead of an asset to me. Am i getting something more that i do not relize. I mean they charge me all winter when my lawn business is dormant. I have only been using them for my lawn business for 2 months. I am about done with them. Really? 5th 3rd.

 

5/3 has sucked for a long time. I posted somewhere what the manager said to my wife about landscapers being a dime a dozen. At the time we had been a customer for over 40 years and vendor for 30+? Maybe longer.

Ya I found put BOA was terrible a long time ago. All the big banks have gone hyper greedy ie cutting tellers, fees

 

We use a local credit union. I don’t know of any fees but they all know me by my first name when I walk-in. They’ll appreciate your deposits better than some mega bank.

 

I love how the local BOA branch opens at 9am and closes at 4pm. They are trying to get everyone to go online and pay employees less to be there.
