small punch, brass is best, and tap out gently, good luck.

 

agree with ridin around, but should'nt have to though. i had a wild cat once and when i pulled the pulleys off that darn keyway would fall right off the shaft. meanwile, very important, as i found this out the hard way, take note what level those pulleys are at before you take that spindle or spindles out whichever, take great care when lining up the pulleys after your done, because if you don't a little bit of misallignment in that deck belt and you WILL cut or chaff the belt. $71.00 worth not to mention 1 hour for me then
to pick it up! dealer here too busy, of course are'nt they all. well good luck!

by the way, if i am not mistaken, make sure to check that those nylok nuts are not worn out!, when you bolt up again, because this is normal for this to happen, especially nylock. also next time you go to wherever hardware, your scag dealer ect. get some extra so they'll be on hand.
