Which pressure washer would you recommend for cleaning the inside of gutters with an telescopic pole?

Also, as far as cleaning the outside of the eaves, I know you need a detergent, eclover or whatever, but, do you need to scrub the gutter with a brush? and what PSI would you recommend for the power washing?

Why don't you just take a backpack blower, get up on the roof and clean them out. It'd be way cleaner, and then when you're done you can take a preassure washer, and do it...

I used to do that but they have changed all the laws around here. Now you cannot walk on a roof unless it's 4/12 pitch, you need 3 point ladder contact at all times. Fall arrest for anything over 10 feet, a footer for any ladder work more then 24 feet. Basically, I want to do everything from the ground.

Oh no  hopefully Santa won't get arrested again!

That's a dumb law! Is that's OSHA? Or local ord.

get a 10 ft step ladder, I would use the blower instead on the pressure washer. All down spouts use a U attach to your pw to clear them out.
You can only use a blower maybe 10% of the time. How many people are going to let you blow crap all over their yard? and what good is a 10ft step ladder? for ANYTHING? I threw out a 12ft step years ago because they are useless and big and bulky.

The only time I use a blower is when I'm going to do the fall leaf clean up right after wards.

This thread is about using a high pressure telescoping pole to do eaves.

No, that's exactly what I'm buying with the 24ft pole. This is what I want to do, the first tool cleans out the muck (I might use a vacuum for that) and then he power washes.

It looks nice But what happens when you have a full gutter. There wasnt even a tree near by. You wouldnt last a hour.

I dont use my 24yellow pw pole any more, no reason to. But I was going to give it to my local hack. But if you want it I sell it to you.

Leaf blowers work best for cleaning gutters. Here in Maryland there is no crazy laws like that about walking roofs, either to clean gutters or wash roofs.
Do you use a hand held blower or a back pack on the roof?

Right now Iam using the hand held blower.

When I,m cleaning out gutters ( in Saint Augustine FL) all my customers request that the gutters are not blown out, with the debris all over the yard, patois and walkways.
I clean the gutters out by hand, putting the debris in a bucket and than empty the bucket into a bag.
A few years ago I saw a contractor blowing the gutter out with a pressure washer and he made a giant mess.

I have customers that have them blown out with leaf blower and I have some, for additional charge removed by hand, bagged, taken away or left on their property.

A power washer, to clean the gutters would work, then you got to rise the house for free. lol!!!

I'm with you Mike B. All my gutter cleanouts are done by hand. I put the debris in buckets and either empty it into a trash bag and carry off site, or empty them into a wooded area on the property. I then flush all gutters and downspouts using the pressure washer with a ball valve. This allows alot of water flow with little pressure and no mess. By doing cleanouts this way I can charge a premium price. I wouldn't want leaves and debris blown all over my yard and flower beds, so I'm sure my customers don't want it either.
