Compost/topsoil/loan to help fill gaps/level sod—Bermuda

Hi Everyone,

I have a 4 week old Tiff419 Bermuda lawn. Due to poor watering after it was laid (and the Central TX sun) the sod shrunk.

Should I fill and do an initially leveling with topsoil? Loam? I have a Met-R-Matic topdresser. Was going to use this and a landscaping rake. However, not sure what "dressing" to start with. I'm guessing loam or topsoil.

Thoughts? I'm thinking this will take multiple rounds to level. See pics.

Best thing I've ever used on Bermuda for leveling is red sand. No not the white. And since we don't have a top dresser we just have to dump and take out. Youcan dang near bury tiff2 by half an inch (not that you would want to) but it will grow through without issue.
