This is by far the biggest enemy I come across. I recently sprayed with a 3-way and triclopyr mix. 3oz/gal of triclopyr and 2oz/gal of 3way. Needless to say they aren't really phased. I see a couple here and there showing a couple brown spots but no real signs of being affected at all. Any help would be appreciated!

Veronica (speedwell) is a very difficult weed.
I think it is a winter annual. I think you will have good luck if you spray thoroughly in the fall.
Probably about 2 weeks before, to two weeks after your first frost.
Experts at our local university suggest quinclorac, in addition to a three way.
Or spray in hot weather--when it is about to die anyway.

The limit on 2,4-D is twice per year if you are spraying overall, blanket spray. So, after two weeks, best to stay with a spot spray--so you can use three-way again in fall. Add quinclorac (Drive)--as the university suggested. Surfactant? Sure--why not.
However, my test last year found no benefit to surfactant on most weeds. In a spot spray situation however, surfactant cost is minimal.
Don't go overboard and apply excess. And remember, three ways include dicamba--which can damage trees by root uptake. Not sure--I think redbud and linden are more sensitive than most.
