Hi Guys, I've got a problem with my 2009 Cub Cadet LTX-1045 with Hydrostatic transmission. It has a Kohler Courage 20 HP motor, SV600. I was cutting my yard with it and all of a sudden it started slowing down until it just stopped going forward. I tried going in reverse but only moved a few inches & then it wouldn't move in reverse either. I took the battery out to look at the drive belt hooked up to the hydrostatic transmission and saw a frayed small thin rubber string wrapped around the drive pulley. I think it was an edge that had rubbed it's self off the belt. The belt is still on the mower & appears to be in decent shape. I looked this model year up & it says it has a sealed Hydrostatic drive unit. I am wondering if the Hydraulic fluid has run dry & if so, how do I get into a sealed unit to add fluid, or am I just screwed & need to replace the mower. Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks
