Echo HC-1500

What can you guys tell me about this unit? Are they worth a darn, good bad ugly? As a sanitational engineer I come across items occasionally and found this today. Compression seems good and it has a new plug in it that's never been fired. The primer bulb is rooted off but otherwise seems sound. Going to get a new bulb tomorrow and try it. It's really a clean unit. Not sure how old it is?

Yes it does say Kioritz Corp.

The gas tank has a 01 molded into it as well.

Also if it was thrown out might have a simple fuel problem like a fuel filter or line or lastly a dirty carb
I'd try it with new fuel and see what happens first

Hey Hort, threw a new primer bulb on it and fresh fuel and fired on the 6th pull. Idled great and revs fine. Runs absolutely great for the 5min I ran it. I'll have to try it out on some jobs!

How are the blades sharp etc
And if its got a zert on the gearbox should be part of maintenanceThumbs Up

The blades could use a touch up. Nothing real bad though. The gear box does have a zero so I'll shoot some in it. Is there a type or amount for the box?
Hope it works out, I got $3 in it !
