What is it doing(leaving)? Pics?

 

I don't have any pics, but it's just not cutting it all down...especially yards that have a mixture of weeds and grass.

 

Still too vague, kind of grass? Wet/dry? Blades?......

Standard blades, no lift no gators, I use the same type with my 52 and they work great

 

I have a z1 running the stock blades and have had zero issues. I also ran high lifts in wet conditions also without issues except clumping.
I know not much help but gotta be something else going on.

Nevermind, yes, it is the ICD deck

 

The slight tilt forward of the deck.....some decks are better flat, some better tilted forward (a 1/4 of an inch) some say it is better tilted back......what does the manual say?

I think it's the SRS deck if I remember right.

 

You running it at full rpm’s?
Top no load should be around 3600 3700.
Ground speed?

 

Full RPM's...ground speed is various, it seems that the air flow is the problem...grass/weeds seem to be pushed down instead of being sucked up to cut.

 

Too much lift can/will overwhelm the deck's ability to discharge causing turbulence.

Ferris FW15 user here, and while some LCOs running the same mower will disagree, I've found the factory medium lifts to work the best here in fescue country when it comes to QOC via side-discharging. And fwiw, the Ferris factory blades are made by Fisher-Barton => so a quality brand of blade that holds an edge for longer than softer/cheaper metal blades.
