Been reading and attending enough conferences to know that humates (and hence its sub components) are super beneficial to calcareous soils with turfgrass. Not questioning that. I have used Humic DG on some of my premium customers lawns for several years now. I spread the DG at the same time as a fert app, then irrigate all in. Pretty good results IMO.
But am I making the right choice in humics? Would using a humic coated fert be even a better choice? Or, should I use a liquid humic product and spray on? What have you all been using out there? Results? Particularly int in use on clay soils.
